The panel will discuss hot flushes, changing moods, loss of libdo… the menopause has a bad reputation. But is the second half of a woman’s life necessarily the worst? Is there a conspiracy of silence over the menopause? Do women of a certain age become invisible? What does how we talk – or not talk – about the menopause say about how society views women?

Exploring the Menopause Workshop

3-4th March 2018

Exacerbated by a lack of knowledge and negative social attitudes, many women find the Menopause a confusing and uncomfortable phase in their lives. This weekend aims to give women a voice and empower them to understand their choices for managing a healthy transition through the menopause.

Through experiential exercises and group discussion there is an opportunity to explore:

  • your relationship with your own cycle of life
  • your thoughts and feelings about  sexuality
  • ‘The Change’-your goals, dreams, hopes

The workshop is facilitated by Cabby Laffy (Psychosexual Therapist) & Eileen Bellot founder of Reclaim the Menopause.
