Menopause is a source of concern, uncertainty, and embarrassment for many women. It has become a taboo even though every woman goes through it. Some women easily transition but others find the symptoms distressing. Sometimes these symptoms can cause real difficulties in a women’s life, becoming a serious condition if left unattended. It is important to understand the symptoms of menopause so that you have a better chance of managing them.

The Menopause Awareness event’s goal is to help you take control of your transition. This event is free of charge and will be on the 8th of March. You can treat yourself to a free massage and ask experts questions that you may have regarding menopause. Speakers will talk for the second half of the evening to tell you all about resources within the community that are available for women going through menopause.

Menopause Exercise Class: Wednesdays from 7-8:30PM
Venue: Redmond Community Centre Kayani Avenue, Woodberry Down N4 2HF
Our next 10 week workshops start in April and are designed to provide a safe space for you to talk about your experience and learn how to manage your symptoms. The currently on-going exercise class will introduce exercises that help reduce menopause-related health risks.
